About Steve Fields
b. Chicago, 1950. Every moment of our experience is an act of creation. I have been inspired by many artists of the past and present to arrive at this moment of creativity. I have been inspired by some wonderful spiritual teachers to arrive at this moment of beauty and mystery. I invite you to share in my vision of this mystery. Many of the images in this gallery have started out as paintings or collage; then processed through photoshop to become what I refer to as: 'virtual painting'. These refined images are then available as digital prints on this site. Recently I've concentrated on the collage medium using postage stamps and cut-outs of photos from old Life magazines. Recently I've been exploring the possibilities of jigsaw puzzles...

just fyi: I was looking at 'who's online', you appeared, all dark and mysteriously 'artistic', so I had a look........you know the drill:::comments occur often in reply to one of yours to someone.......thus inviting others to see your work....up to you.

This 'speaks' to me, though I'm not au fait with your process fascinating, it makes me think! Of me! Life's 'events', the memories now fragmented...sigh. Thank you! Great ART. .....fav, VIVA
